Will Ash attend her ex-boyfriend’s marriage?

In the run-up to his wedding with the Bangalore girl Priyanka Alva on October 29, Vivek Oberoi has been mending fences and inviting to his marriage the people who have not exactly been his thick friends for long. Vivek’s vibes with the Bachchans have never been good, thanks to his past with Aishwarya Rai, who is now a Bachchan bahu.
Vivek has tried to extend olive branches to the Bachchans more than once (his unannounced visit to the Bachchan residence when Big B’s mom passed away) but nothing of substance came from those overtures. Now, all set to marry, Vivek is making a fresh attempt to let bygones be bygones and make a brand new start.

Last week he took the trouble of personally visiting Mehboob Studios in Bandra just to invite Abhishek Bachchan to his wedding reception on October 31. Vivek will wed in a very private ceremony on October 29 in Bangalore but has invited his friends from the industry for a lavish reception in Mumbai on Oct 31.

Abhishek, being the gentleman that he is, cordially accepted Vivek’s invitation. But now the question is: will wifey Aishwarya Rai accompany him to the wedding? After all, she’s by his side at all important functions, and Vivek’s wedding reception is by no standard insignificant.
