Aamir set for clash with Priyanka Chopra

An Aamir Khan film gets seat bumps in theatres - that’s for sure. So it’s understandable that director Vishal Bhardwaj is wary of competition from the superstar’s film Dhobi Ghat.  Everyone’s waiting for the next film starring Aamir Khan. It’s been close to a year when cine buffs last saw him on screen in 3 Idiots. The actor’s next film, Dhobi Ghat, directed by wife Kiran Rao, was earlier slated to release on February 25, but now it has been pre-poned by almost a month.

Reports say that due to the Cricket World Cup in February Aamir has decided to release Dhobi Ghat on January 21. But that’s also the date finalized by Vishal Bhardwaj for the release of his film Saat Khoon Maaf, starring Priyanka Chopra as a serial hubby-killer.

So a clash between Aamir and Priyanka seems inevitable unless UTV, which is linked to both the movies, does a little shuffling in the release dates to avoid the clash.

Since Aamir is unlikely to change the release date of Dhobi Ghat, UTV will try to persuade Bhardwaj to release Saat Khoon Maaf on another date.
