Wateen joins hands in rehabilitation of flood affected people

Volunteer team of Wateen Telecom Limited distributed three truckloads of flood relief goods to 660 families of Mian Esa (Jahangira) and Utmanzai (Charsadda) areas of Khyber Pukhtunkhwa. The money for these goods was provided by the CEO and employees of Wateen Telecom through a donation of Pak Rupees 2.7 million.
Each package distributed by Wateen included household utensils, water cooler, shoes and blankets for a family of 4-5 individuals.

Wateen’s volunteer team comprising of Muneeb Minhas and Imran Umer, led by Zakaria Ahmed travelled from Lahore to the affected areas and distributed these goods with the logistical support of Pakistan Army.
