That Madhur Bandarkar is basically planning Heroine around Kareena Kapoor is old news. The director has been asking the ace actress for major input with regards to her look and the casting of the film.
However, the grapevines are buzzing with news that the actress has decided to opt out of the film. And the reason for this is not professional but in fact completely personal.According to sources, Madhur was incredibly rude to Lovely Singh’s father. Singh is a close friend of Bebo’s and the director of the dud film Kya Love Story Hai. Apparently, the director’s father scheduled an appointment with Bandarkar and was asked to wait for over three hours. Only then did the Fashion director emerge only to claim that he was too busy and thus, couldn’t meet with Singh’s father.
When Lovely recited the incident to Kareena, she is said to have been “appalled”. It was then that she told her friend that she would not be a part of Madhur’s film. However, “officially” the actress and her business manager both claim that the film has simply been delayed.
Kareena maintains, “It’s not true. Madhur is busy doing a film with Ajay Devgn and is busy. We will do our film sometime next year.”
