NEW YORK: A new video game that allows players to hunt and kill Osama bin Laden has been launched, less than a week after US commandos shot the al-Qaeda leader. The online game called Osama 2011: The Death of Osama bin Laden is the brainchild of New York-based developers who released the video on Saturday, just five days after Navy Seal operatives stormed the compound of the fugitive terrorist leader in Abbottabad.
Players have five minutes to navigate a maze of rooms, locked doors and hazardous gas cylinders and then shoot bin Laden.
They must also carry his body, gather intelligence on al-Qaeda and destroy a downed US helicopter that sits ablaze in the compound.
Players also have the option of defending bin Laden. -The News
