Madhuri Dixit’s comeback as Jhalak Dikhla Ja judge has just once again proved how popular she is. Madhuri was getting loads of offers for films, but she said that she will do it only if she feels that the script is right for her. The Jhalak Season is about to get over now, and Madhuri has already started missing her kids.
Therefore, she did what no other actress could perhaps think of doing; refusing to work with superstar Rajnikanth! Apparently, after Deepika Padukone, the makers of the film Rana, offered Madhuri a role opposite Rajnikanth. But the doting mom that she is, Madhuri is missing her boys Arin and Raayan, who are currently in Denver.

Rajnikanth has a triple role in the movie, and obviously requires three actresses to play opposite him. Now as per media speculations, Asin and Deepika Padukone are already playing the leading ladies, but the hunt for the third female lead is still on.
The makers of the film felt that Madhuri will be apt in doing the lead, and audience would be looking out for her filmy comeback. But the Jhalak judging has taken a lot of Madhuri’s time from her kids, and she now intends to return home. Madhuri is expected to do the Season Five of the reality show, but that might happen only the next year. So as of now, she is not taking up assignments, but rushing home instead.
Rana will be released in three languages including Hindi, Tamil and Telegu. A. R. Rahman will give music to the film. The film is set to go on floors by March, and is expected to release in April 2012.
Well, maybe we can see a Madhuri-Rajni starrer film next year, when Madhuri will return for Season Five of the dance reality show, and perhaps be here for a longer break, or with her kids themselves!
