two gigs of onboard memory as well as support for Secure Digital memory cards, AF Tracking for motion shots, a variety of art filters, one touch recording of 720p video, Intelligent Auto modes that determine the best settings in a variety of situations, Advanced Face Detection systems, a panorama mode that will let you take three pictures and stitch them all together in one big picture, shadow adjustment technology to adjust for lower light settings, a beauty mode that does some automatic airbrushing, and the Perfect Shot Preview mode that lets you check what the shot will look like with the various settings applied during your photographing.
There’s definitely a lot to like here–more than enough features for anyone, for one, plus a decent zoom (under thirty feet by my reckoning), and a good amount of storage, which is also plenty welcome. The camera definitely isn’t difficult to use, and even the price isn’t out at line.
The folks out at Amazon are asking two hundred sixty four dollars for one of these, which is a fair price for what all you get here.
So for a good value with a camera with plenty of options, you’ll absolutely want a closer look of your own at the Olympus SP-800UZ.
