The poll was held on all the top actresses across the world, pop stars and TV personalities.
Speaking after receiving the award, Katrina Kaif said: “I’m very happy that I have made it to the top of Eastern Eye’s list again. England is of course a very special place to me and I think it’s very sweet to be voted the sexiest by them. I just want to thank everyone for the support.”
Eastern Eye showbiz editor Asjad Nazir, who was also Chairman of the selection panel, said that Katrina's win is all the more remarkable because of the incredibly high standard.
"Although Bollywood heroines dominated the top 10, the list for 2010 included stunning beauty pageant winners, top actresses from around the world, pop stars and TV personalities. That is why Katrina should be deservedly proud of her amazing win."
