Wateen Wi-Fi Settings

1. Write down the following URL (http://192.168.15.1) in the Web browser to access the WiFi Management Interface by applying “Motorola” in Password.

2. Click on Wi-Fi radio button option and enable it.

Freeze Wateen Account

The account freeze option is available if your pre paid account meets the following cretiria:

* At time of account freeze, the balance is in +ve

* you should atleast request 24 hours before your recharge date

Wateen Prepaid Account Recharge

Please follow the below mentioned steps;


Log on to http://www.prepaid.wateen.net

On main page, towards bottom right click on option of Refill account

In the new window that appears, enter your pre paid card scratch number

You will get a message "Your card is redeemed successfully"

Wateen CIR bandwidth/packages

CIR stands for Committed Information Rate. It is the dedicated bandwidth assigned to a customer for data transfer. This type of service is usually utilized by corporate customers. If you are interested in CIR services you can send your requirements to customerservice@wateen.com and wateen will arrange a visit at your location to present a proposal for the services.

W card Denominations

• Wcard is available at all Wateen Business centers and Franchises, plus at all major retailers’ nationwide in denomination of Rs 50, Rs 100, Rs 250,Rs 500, Rs 1,000, Rs 1,500 and Rs 2,000.

One Wcard can only be used for one purpose at a time you can use a Wcard to recharge your Wateen Account or you can use it as a calling card.

Through calling card functionality customers can make nationwide and international calls at affordable prices from any PTCL landline number, Warid GSM connection and for Wateen number by dialing the access code 12541.

Wateen gaming service

Wateen's Gaming Service is a subscription based service which will allow customers to connect to our dedicated servers through a software client and play multi-player computer games online with friends from the comfort of their home or favorite gaming café. Gaming Service is available only from Wateen network.

Wateen DSL Services Launched

Wateen DSL FUT services have been launched in Lahore. The areas where the DSL FUT services are available in the following areas of Lahore;

• Johar Town

Change of Ownership (WiMAX-Prepaid Customer)

Wateen Telecom has developed and implemented Ownership change process. Now WiMAX prepaid customers can change / transfer their ownership by visiting to the nearest Business Centers & Franchises. Customers just need to take required documentation to walk in Centers for further processing.
